We believe that that the buying process in Turkey is completely different from that in the UK and it cannot be stressed strongly enough that a customer must only use a reputable and established agent to conduct the transaction for them.
Because most buyers will only be in Turkey for a short time while they are looking for the property and because the buying procedure can take up to 8 weeks, a person in Turkey has to be appointed as their power of attorney.
The nominated person (usually the estate agent) will undertake to carry out all the tasks necessary to purchase the property on the client’s behalf.
Once an offer has been made and accepted, within the day all parties will have signed a legally binding contract.
